does the cemetery make me feel like I can only buy from them?  Top
Cemeteries are in business to make a profit and when they lose
potential customers, they do not make money. It is not unheard
of that a cemetery will use tactics to dissuade a customer from
purchasing from an outside dealer.
Will
the cemetery accept a headstone purchased from you? Top
Yes, as long as the headstone meets their requirements they are
legally bound to accept the memorial. It is your choice to purchase
a headstone from wherever you like. If you are experiencing a
problem with the cemetery you can always file a complaint
here with the Federal
Trade Commission.
Can
the cemetery charge me an installation fee if I purchase from
you? Top
The truth is if they charge an installation fee for a headstone
purchased from an outside source, they must also charge if the
headstone is purchased from them. You should not be penalized
for purchasing from another dealer. If you are experiencing a
problem with the cemetery you can always file a complaint
here with the Federal
Trade Commission.
Will i see a layout proof of the headstone before it is produced ? Top
Yes, about a week after the order has been sent to the factory for production you will received by email a layout detailing the design, lettering and personalization of the memorial.
Can
the designs be altered in any way? Top
Unfortunately not. The designs we carry are templates and the
only modifications that can be made are with the lettering and
addition of emblems.
Can
I add a picture to a headstone I ordered from you? Top
Yes you can. Please contact our customer service to inquire about pricing and details. Please note that not all headstone/grave marker designs will accommodate a ceramic picture.
Can
the vase be turned into the marker when not in use? Top
Yes, all of our bronze vases are made to be turned upside down
and into a receptacle within the headstone when not in use.
Could
I add a vase to an existing headstone? Top
If you already have a headstone for your loved one and want to
add a flower vase unit we can help. We offer a bronze vase unit
mounted to a granite base. It can be placed above the existing
headstone so flowers can be displayed in honor of the deceased.

Do
you sell headstones other than flat bronze and granite? Top
Currently we only sell the flat or grass type grave markers in
bronze or granite. We will in the near future start carrying the
upright headstones.
Do
your bronze headstones come with a granite base? Top
All of our bronze headstones come with a standard granite base
in your choice of four colors.
Can
I order the bronze plaque only? Top
Yes, you can select either the bronze w/granite option or the bronze only option from the 'Bronze size' menu.
If
I purchase a pre-need grave headstone who will take care of adding
my death date? Top
First keep a copy of the original receipt for your surviving family member(s). If you ordered a bronze headstone and need only the year date scroll, there is no charge as long as it is ordered during the current year of death. If the bronze scroll requires the name, date of birth and date of death, there will be a charge at the current rate. Please contact us for a quote.
If you ordered a sandblasted granite headstone, you will need to contact a local monument dealer to engrave the final date.
Can
you do lettering in a different language? Top
We can do most foreign languages that use the English alphabet
plus Chinese, Korean, Hebrew, and Arabic for an additional cost.

Who
installs the headstone at the cemetery? Top
In most cases the cemetery will offer the installation service
for a fee. If the headstone is going to a rural cemetery or one
which does not offer this service, then a headstone/monument installer
in your area can install it.
Can
I install the grave headstone myself and how? Top
We recommend having the headstone installed by an experienced
headstone/monument installer or the cemetery if possible. However, if you are a do-it-yourselfer, here is an article detailing how it can be done.
Do
you know of anyone in my area who can install the grave headstone? Top
We do not have a list compiled of headstone/monument installers,
but the Superpages.com directory may be of assistance. Simply type the word "Monuments"
in the category field then your city and state. If your city does
not return a result, you can always select the nearest city with
a larger population.
Is
the shipping extra or is it included in the price? Top
All of our products include the cost of basic shipping to the
lower 48 United States. In some cases where a delivery truck with
a lift gate is necessary for the delivery of a headstone or grave
marker with granite, there may be an additional charge upon which
you will be notified.
Where
and when will my headstone be delivered? Top
In most cases we will ship to the cemetery unless otherwise specified
by you. From the time the completed order is placed it will take
approximately four to eight (4-8) weeks to deliver a headstone to its destination.
Special headstones may take additional time depending
on the amount of customization. You can read more about our delivery
options.
Can
I order a headstone and have it shipped to a different state? Top
Yes, m any of our customers use us for this very reason. Our ability
to deliver to any of the lower 48 states gives our customers the
flexibility of ordering from any one state and having it delivered
to a different state.
Can
you ship a headstone out of the US? Top
Unfortunately we cannot have our headstones shipped outside of
the 48 contiguous United States.
What
are my options with regard to shipping the headstone? Top
You can have the headstone shipped to the cemetery or a business
address provided we have the business owner/manager sign an acceptance
of delivery form. You can read more about our delivery

a quote for a custom headstone? Top
In most cases no. In order to keep our costs down and pass the
savings to our customers we only carry a standard set of headstones
on our site. They can be further personalized with the addition
of emblems or an epitaph. A local headstone/monument dealer would
be your best solution if you want a custom made headstone.
Since
your prices are less than the local sources, is this reflected
in the quality? Top
Definitely not! Our headstones are produced by Granit-Bronz, one
of the leading memorial manufacturers in the country. Granit-Bronz
is a division of the Cold Spring Granite Company, which has been
in business for over 100 years and is respected throughout the
industry. Many cemeteries use the same manufacturer as we do.

you offer payment plans? Top
Unfortunately not at this time. All purchases must be paid in
full prior to processing the order and sending it to production.
What
payment options do you offer? Top
We accept the following major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard,
American Express, and Discover. We also accept personal checks
and money orders.

The first and most important thing to know is what type
of headstone can be placed in the cemetery. Most cemeteries
have restrictions regulating the headstone.
