What Kind of Photograph to Send

It is very important to understand that in order to ensure a satisfactory final product, the original photograph needs to be of good quality and in focus. Old photographs that are faded or have creases from being bent may still be able to work as we have professional graphic artists that can restore old photos. Generally if you are submitting an actual photograph printed on photo paper, you want to make sure it is in focus and at least as large as the ceramic tombstone picture you are purchasing. If you have a digital photo from a digital camera or phone, it is best to submit the raw image straight from your camera/phone and submit it to us as an email attachment.     Yes, in most cases we can restore an old or damaged photograph for an additional fee. It is very important to have the best possible quality photo as a starting point when producing a ceramic picture. Please contact us for a restoration quote.
  • Can you change or remove the background in the picture?
    Yes, we can remove the existing background and replace it with a clean portrait-style background for a more refined and timeless finished result.
  • Will I get a proof of the ceramic photo before it is produced?
    Yes, you can receive a proof if you specifically request one in the order comments at checkout. We recommend doing so to ensure the final result meets your expectations before production begins.
  • Will the finished product look exactly like my original photograph?
    The finished ceramic picture will closely resemble your original photograph. However, please be aware that identical color reproduction cannot be guaranteed, as the inks and firing process used in ceramic production are of a different type to standard photographic printing.

    It takes approximately 5 to 7 weeks to ship your completed ceramic picture from the time we receive your photograph. Please ensure your photograph is submitted promptly after placing your order to avoid any delays.
