What They Are Used ForOur line of flag cases are mainly used to preserve and display the American flag of a veteran who has passed away. These flag cases are made to store the standard Government Issue US flag measuring 5' x 9 ½'. Every flag case we carry comes with a standard engraved brass plaque free of charge. This allows for personalization of the flag case with the veteran's name and dates plus an additional line of engraving. When purchased with the American flag (which is also available from our online catalog) it can be used as a unique gift. American companies have used them as promotional or corporate gifts. Options and Accessories For Flag CasesAside from being designed to set on any flat surface, there are several display options for these flag cases. They can be set on top of a matching pedestal, mounted to a wall with a hanging plaque or they can rest on a tri-column metal stand. All of these flag case options are available from our online catalog. Also all of our flag cases come with free wall mounting hardware in the event you choose to mount on a wall. Our line of flag cases are a quality product made right here in the United States of America to strict standards. The construction consists of hand picked solid wood boards, which are then fabricated to exact specifications. All flag cases are assembled by hand utilizing a glued Dovetail joint; the strongest and most permanent joint made in carpentry and cabinet-making, where pieces of wood are fastened together at right angles. Finally these flag display cases go through a seven step finishing process that includes sanding, sealing and a final hand rubbed/waxed process that will produce a satin look with a smooth feel.
